| Welcome to Chestnut Dale on the Web! It is our prayer that you find our website informative and spiritually uplifting. For well over a hundred years Chestnut Dale has sought to be a place where people feel at home! Our church has always been a leading and guiding light throughout our community. As we continue to strive to be the people God has called us to be, we also desire to share the love of Christ with all those around us. Our prayer is that you too will feel at home, be blessed, and encouraged. The focus and strength of our church is first and foremost, God, who through his son, Jesus Christ, teaches us that we were created not only by God but for God and for His glory. With that in mind, we are a faith community which seeks to honor and glorify God through service to others. That is to say, we believe that the shape of Christ’s church is “Cruciform,” having both vertical (communion with God) and horizontal (communion with others) dimensions. The church is much more than the building. The church is a community of people who have been saved, transformed, and commissioned by the Lord Jesus Christ to share the good news and grace of God with the world. It is for that reason that we actively support a variety of different ministries and outreaches both locally and globally. One such organization which holds a special place in our hearts is the North Carolina Baptist Children’s Home which faithfully ministers to and reaches out to children and young adults in need. In addition, our passion is serving the Lord Jesus Christ and promoting the vision and values of the Kingdom of God which is most fully realized in His life, death, and resurrection! It is the Kingdom which is still at work in the world through the power of the Holy Spirit and His Body, the Church. Please take a few moments to browse our website and read more about our ministries and activities. We hope that our website will give you a glimpse into life at Chestnut Dale and what we believe, but more importantly we hope that you will be encouraged and inspired in your faith! So, check us out. But the best way you can get to know us is to come and visit us. We feel sure that you will feel AT HOME! In addition to our Sunday Morning Worship, we offer a variety of different ministries including a wonderful Children’s Ministry (Bible Buddies) and Youth Ministry, as well as, our Wednesday Night Bible Study!
